SYNOPSIS
He's an institution. Or he belongs in one. A savant-like scorekeeper who follows high school sports
religiously, Lawrence "Deuce" Skurcenski truly is one of a kind. A colorful character with his own
trading card and catchphrases, Deuce has covered more than 9,000 basketball games and more than 3,000
football games (just ask him) in a career spanning five decades and a countless supply of pencils and
legal pads. The legend of DEUCE is told in this captivating documentary by Joe and Mark Graziano,
a pair of Pittsburgh natives who follow Skurcenski from getting his weekly flattop cut at the local
barbershop to rubbing elbows with Bob Huggins at the ABCD Basketball Camp and includes testimonials
from Pitt football coach Dave Wannstedt, Steelers play-by-play announcer Bill Hillgrove and former
Pitt basketball star turned NBA player, DeJuan Blair.
